That’s so cool!
Where did you get that?
I want one.

– countless cashiers and line-mates

Expect to hear those words about half the time you use your Coin Sorter.

A Coin Sorter can be an attention-grabber. Don’t squander the social opportunities that arise.

Cashiers are grateful to see how quickly a Coin Sorter-brandishing customer can produce change. Other customers in line will immediately understand how useful such a device would be with their own personal change dilemmas.

You might want to prepare some follow-up remarks in advance. Otherwise you’ll need to coin a new phrase on the spot.

Let those remarks say something positive about you – perhaps that you have a sense of humor, or that you’re a busy (and therefore likely very important) person who creates order out of chaos, and that you don’t settle for just an ordinary change purse.

Material for the Jokester

Below is material you can adapt to your personal comedic style. If you have better jokes or witty banter, please let me know.

Ted’s or Hale’s

The U.S. Mint will issue a new coin to honor two great American patriots.

On one side of the coin will be Teddy Roosevelt and on the other side, Nathan Hale.

Now, when you toss a coin you can simply call…. ‘Ted’s or Hale’s’

(Nathan Hale is famous for the words “I only regret that I have but one life to give for my country” before being executed by the British during our Revolution.)

No Change

A small boy swallowed some coins and was taken to a hospital.

When his grandmother telephoned to ask how he was, a nurse said ‘No change yet’.

Coppers

They changed the composition of pennies to now be mostly zinc.

The zinc cents were running from the Coppers.
